| Title: | America's Children: Key National Indicators of Well-Being, 2011 |
|---|---|
| Abstract: | This annual report is a compendium of statistics from 22 Federal agencies providing the latest available data on the well-being of children in the United States. It presents background data and presents indicators in seven domains: family and social environment, economic circumstances, health care, physical environment, and safety, behavior, education, and health. The report incorporates several modifications that reflect efforts by the Federal Interagency Forum on Child and Family Statistics to improve its quality and comprehensiveness, updates data sources, substantively expands several indicators, and presents a special feature on adoption. This report is the 15th in an ongoing series presenting 41 key indicators on important aspects of children’s lives. |
